For general contractors

Win work and find subs without paying for a single lead.

Per-lead pricing charges you whether the job closes or not, and sells the same homeowner to four of your competitors. TradeDeck does not sell leads at all.

What per-lead pricing actually costs

On the usual platforms a plumbing or remodel lead runs anywhere from roughly $30 to well over $100, charged on delivery. Close one in five and the real cost of acquisition is five times the sticker — before you have driven to a single estimate. Worse, the lead is not exclusive, so you are racing three other bids to the bottom on a job the owner was never serious about.

TradeDeck's model is different on purpose: applying is free, the homeowner chose to post, and you are compared on your record rather than on who replied within ninety seconds.

Both sides of the business, one account

Apply for work

Browse open jobs by trade and county across Utah. Apply free. The owner sees your tier, your completed jobs and your cost-variance record alongside everyone else's.

Hire your subs

Post your own jobs and fill crews from the worker directory — with the same tier data the homeowner used to evaluate you.

Escrow protects you too

Escrow is usually pitched as homeowner protection, which undersells it. When an owner funds a milestone, the money for that stage is confirmed to exist before you mobilise a crew. Chasing a final payment for six weeks after handover is not a risk you carry on a funded draw.

It also kills the deposit conversation. You are not asking a stranger to trust you with cash up front, and they are not asking you to float materials. Read the escrow detail.

How you get ranked

Four objective inputs, none of which you can buy:

  1. Jobs completed on the platform
  2. Timeline adherence against the milestones you agreed
  3. Cost variance against your own bid
  4. Site cleanliness at close-out

If you run clean jobs, hit your dates and bid honestly, that record compounds into placement. If you are used to competing on who bought the most visibility, this will feel unfamiliar in a good way.

Common questions

How much do leads cost?

Nothing. TradeDeck does not sell leads. Applying to a posted job is free, however many you apply to.

Do I have to use escrow?

Only on jobs where the owner sets a draw schedule. Many contractors prefer it, because it means the money for the milestone is confirmed before they mobilise.

Can I hire subs through TradeDeck too?

Yes. General contractors post jobs and hire workers on the same account they use to apply for work.

How is my tier calculated?

From jobs completed on TradeDeck, timeline adherence, cost variance against your bid, and site-cleanliness sign-offs. It is not influenced by spending money with us.
